◼︎지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 파리 기후변화 협정은 공동의 비전과 함께, 포용적 성장을 추진할 수 있는 더 나은 지속 가능한 미래를 위한 구체적 목표들을 정의한다. 이 목표들을 이루기 위해서는 정부, 비즈니스, 시민사회의 리더십과 가속화된 행동이 시급하다.

◼︎우리는 어떠한 단일 행위자도 우리의 글로벌 도전에 대응하거나, 더 나은 성장과 더 많은 양질의 일자리, 보건 혜택, 가치 있는 생태계의 보호, 기후변화의 위험 감소를 가져오는 보다 지속가능한 글로벌 경제로의 전환을 가져올 수 없음을 인식한다. 정부, 지자체, 도시, 비즈니스, 투자자, 시민사회, 학계, 국제기구 및 네트워크들 모두에게 역할이 있다.

◼︎우리는 파트너십에 관한 지속가능발전목표(SDGs) 17번이, 사람들과, 지구, 번영의 혜택을 위한 규모와 속도로, 구체적이고 지속가능한 해결책 및 결과의 실현을 위해 필요한 시장 기회를 열어주는 열쇠라고 믿는다.

◼︎우리는 '녹색성장과 2030 글로벌 목표를 위한 연대(P4G)'를 지속가능한 발전과 기후변화 대응 의제를 상호 강화하는 민관 협력의 인큐베이터이자 촉진자로서 인식한다.

◼︎P4G를 통해 우리는 식량·농업·물·에너지·도시·순환경제와 같은 P4G의 5개 분야들에 있어 구체적인 시장기반 해결책들을 발전시키고, 촉진하며, 확산해 나갈 것을 다짐한다.

◼︎우리는 모든 파트너에 대한 명확한 가치를 제시하며 혁신적인 파트너십을 촉진해 나갈 것이다. P4G를 통해 우리는 지역과 글로벌 차원에서 진정한 영향력을 확보할 수 있는, 실천가능한 해결책과 민관협력 관련 지식과 모범사례를 공유하기 위해 함께 노력할 것이다.

  ○국가, 지역 및 지방 정부 및 정책 결정자들은 장애물 해소, 야심찬 정책 실행 촉진, 시행 법령 제정 등을 통해, 지속가능한 개발을 가속화할 수 있는 이행 환경을 조성해 나갈 것이다.

  ○기업과 투자자들은, 기업의 책임과 지속가능성을 그들의 전반적 전략에 통합시키고 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)로의 투자 방향을 설정하여, 글로벌 도전에 대처하고 새로운 시장 기회를 열어나가는 데 필요한 혁신과 기술 그리고 전문지식을 제공하기 위한 노력을 강화해 나갈 것이다.

  ○시민사회는, 지역사회에 대한 구체적인 개발 효과를 보장하고, 기후변화와 빈곤에 대처하며 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)를 달성함에 있어 전반적 도전과제에 필요한 지식, 네트워크 및 분야별 전문성 제고에 기여할 것이다.

  ○국제기구와 학계는 국가와 지역 전반에 모범 사례를 개발하고, 확인하며 확산시키는 데 도움이 되는 풍부한 지식, 전문성 및 네트워크를 제공할 것이다.

◼︎우리는 P4G 파트너십과 네트워크를 통해, 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 파리기후협정을 실현하기 위한 장기적인 약속에 있어 중요한 발판으로서의 코펜하겐 P4G 정상회의를 환영한다.

 ◼︎우리는 2019년 UN 기후정상회의와 2020년 차기 P4G 정상회의 이후에 이르기까지, 민관 협력을 개발하고 가속화하며 확대하는 우리의 노력을 강화해 나갈 것이다.

 The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement define a shared vision with concrete targets for a better and more sustainable future that can drive inclusive growth. To meet these targets, there is an urgent need for leadership from government, business and civil society and for accelerated action.

 We recognize that no single actor can deliver on our global challenges and ensure a transformation towards a more sustainable global economy delivering green and inclusive growth, more and decent jobs, health benefits, protection of valuable ecosystems, and addressing climate change. Governments, cities and local authorities, businesses, investors, civil society, academia, international organizations and networks all have a role to play.

 We believe that SDG 17 on partnerships is the key to unlock the market opportunities needed for delivering concrete, sustainable solutions and impact at scale and at pace - for the benefit of people, planet and prosperity.

 We consider Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) to be an incubator and accelerator of public-private partnerships that brings together mutually reinforcing agendas on sustainable development and climate change action to address the world’s most urgent challenges.
Through P4G, we commit to develop, accelerate and scale concrete market-driven solutions within food and agriculture, water, energy, cities and circular economy.

 We will promote transformational partnerships with a clear value proposition for all partners. With P4G, we will work together to share knowledge and best practices on public-private partnerships to inspire actionable solutions to ensure truly local, regional and global impact.

 ○National, regional and sub-national governments and policy-makers will promote an enabling environment for accelerating sustainable development, e.g. by addressing barriers, promoting ambitious policy action and enabling legislation.

 ○Companies and investors will step up efforts to provide the innovation, technology and expertise needed to tackle global challenges and unlock new market opportunities by integrating corporate responsibility and sustainability into their overall strategy and directing investments towards the SDGs.

 ○Civil society will contribute with knowledge, networks and sectoral expertise needed for ensuring concrete development impact for local communities and the overall challenge of combatting climate change, poverty and reaching the SDGs.

· International organizations and academia will bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and network to help develop, identify and disseminate partnerships and best practices across countries and regions.

We welcome the P4G Copenhagen Summit as an important stepping-stone in our long-term shared vision and commitment to realize the SDGs and the Paris Climate Agreement.

 We will intensify our efforts to develop, accelerate and scale public-private partnerships towards the UN Climate Summit in 2019, the P4G Summit in 2020 and beyond.
